Lifting Equipment on-site statuatory inspections - Proof Load Testing

All Lifting Gear Products employees on-site test and inspection work are fully qualified in the examination and testing of all types of lifting equipment, including fork lift trucks and passenger or goods lifts.

Our specialists accept the statutory regulations as minimum standards of safety and performance. Inspection and testing teams are fully equipped with static load weights, load cells, laser level and measuring equipment to confidently perform these functions.

Proof load testing

It is a legislated requirement of the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974) that following any repairs or modifications to lifting equipment, the equipment is checked, proof loaded (where necessary) to certain predetermined specifications before being brought back into production.
