We take no shortcuts with the products we manufacture and supply and continuously ensure all products are supplied with full certification and goods fully comply with all relevant standards. As a company this is evident through our associated accreditations of which we strive to maintain annually as well as expand upon.

As a made in Sheffield members we understand the craftsmanship present in Sheffield and the history that has contributed to this prestige. Made In Sheffield is a brand in itself, of which we are proud to be associated with and members of. Within the group and Lifting Gear Products have contributed to establishing this brand through our long standing presence of each division in the region.

Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA)

Lifting Gear Products are full members of the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA). Being a member of LEEA offers us unrivalled access to all the latest expert and up to date information and advice that relates to all aspects of safety, testing, servicing, certification and the supply of all lifting equipment.

LEEA also offers up the latest technical, legal and safety advice on all aspects of dangerous equipment warnings and the latest industry standards and regulations. This ensures that we are able to offer our clients the best service and advice while ensuring the safety of both our experts and your staff members.

Quality Systems Based on ISO 9001:2015

ISO 9001 is an internationally recognised quality management standard accepted around the world. It sets out requirements for organisations to consistently provide products and services that meet regulatory and customer expectations.

While our company itself is not ISO 9001 certified, our sister divisions that manufacture equipment hold full ISO 9001 certification. This allows us to benefit from established quality systems and best practice across the wider group.

We are committed to working in line with these principles, ensuring a strong focus on quality assurance in everything we provide. The safety of our workforce and our customers remains paramount in all that we do.

Construction Line Approved

ConstructionLine is a Government-run scheme, which collects, assesses and monitors our standard company information. It is the largest pre-qualification database in the UK and the UK’s leading procurement and supply chain management service.

The audit process allows ConstructionLine to review a range of aspects of our business from financials, to operational processes, i.e. health & safety. It reviews compliance issues, which apply to the work we undertake.

Our certification ensures that Lifting Gear is instantly recognised as aligning with government and industry standards, making us a more viable choice when tendering against companies that don’t hold this accreditation.

Welding Regulation – BS EN 1090

BS EN 1090 is a British Standard that covers structural steel and aluminium products. Since July 2014, products within the scope of this standard must be CE marked before being placed on the market. The steel and aluminium products supplied by Lifting Gear Products are manufactured by our partner brands and sister divisions, which hold the relevant certifications and responsibilities required under BS EN 1090.

As a result, products supplied by us are CE marked in accordance with the standard and are accompanied by the appropriate documentation. This documentation includes the CE marking and specific information relating to the individual product and the manufacturing division responsible for its production, providing customers with full traceability and assurance of compliance.
