Dale’s history can be traced back to 1830, giving the business more than 190 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing and lifting.

Originally established as a chain maker and supplier to the Admiralty, Dale has evolved alongside the lifting industry, moving from traditional manufacturing to the specialist lifting and handling business it is today.

Dale was also a founding member of the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA), reflecting its long-standing involvement in the professional lifting equipment industry and its contribution to the development of the sector.
