The Pewag Winner Pro Grade 12 Single Leg Chain Sling Assembly is a high-performance lifting solution designed for demanding industrial applications where high lifting capacity, reduced sling weight and easy handling are important. Manufactured using Pewag’s advanced Winner Pro Grade 12 profile chain and assembled in accordance with EN 818-4, this chain sling provides increased strength and lifting capacity compared with conventional Grade 8 and Grade 10 chain slings.
With an approximately 50% higher Working Load Limit (WLL) than Grade 8 and around 20% higher than Grade 10, Winner Pro Grade 12 allows a smaller nominal chain size to achieve the required lifting capacity. This results in a lighter sling that is easier to handle and rig, helping to reduce physical effort and operator fatigue during frequent lifting operations.
Winner Pro Grade 12 Chain for High-Performance Lifting
The single-leg configuration is suitable for direct vertical lifts as well as choke and basket lifting arrangements where a single attachment point is required. Winner Pro Grade 12 chain is available in diameters from 7mm to 13mm, providing a range of lifting capacities while maintaining a 4:1 safety factor.
The advanced Grade 12 profile chain provides a high strength-to-weight ratio, making it particularly useful where sling weight and manual handling are important considerations. The reduced chain size required for a given lifting capacity can also make rigging quicker and more manageable.
Oversized Master Link for Improved Load Distribution
Winner Pro Grade 12 single-leg assemblies use oversized Grade 12 master links with an asymmetrical design developed to optimise contact with crane hooks manufactured to DIN 15401.
The master link geometry is designed to improve load distribution and help reduce wear at the crane hook connection. This provides a robust connection between the lifting equipment and the crane hook during lifting operations.
Hook & Shortening Options
