The Tiger SS19 Subsea Lever Hoist with Corrosion Resistant Chain has been purpose-built for use in the world’s most challenging offshore and subsea lifting operations. Designed to exceed the requirements of BS EN 13157, ANSI/ASME B30.21, and IMCA DO28 Rev.2, it offers outstanding strength, control, and safety in extreme marine environments.
The SS19’s corrosion-resistant load chain and high-performance internal coating provide long-lasting protection against saltwater, oxidation, and abrasion. Verified through independent ORE Catapult testing, this hoist has successfully endured 54-day multi-immersion trials and over 1500 hours of ASTM B117 salt spray testing.
Equipped with Tiger’s patented Quad Cam Pawl System and torsion switch brake, the SS19 ensures safe operation even under minimal loads. Its 8-point multi-start pinion shaft increases brake efficiency by 100%, while bonded marine friction discs and sealed brake chambers prevent contamination and aquaplaning.
The corrosion-resistant chain option makes this model ideal for offshore rigs, subsea engineering, and marine lifting applications requiring extended service life. Available with standard or shipyard hooks, and optional load limiter protection compliant with NORSOK R-002.
