Description
The PlumAlti Premium Ratchet Strap with Claw Hooks is a 50mm load restraint assembly for securing cargo in transport, haulage, construction and industrial settings. It’s made from 100% polyester webbing with a 5,000kg minimum breaking load, which makes it a dependable choice for everyday heavy load securing.
Why choose a PlumAlti ratchet strap?
The ratchet gives controlled, even tensioning and a quick release when unloading. Claw hooks at each end engage securely with rave rails, trailer edges and suitable lashing points.
Available lengths
Choose from 6m, 8m or 10m effective working length (EWL). Each assembly has a short fixed end attached to the ratchet and a long adjustable tail.
Manufactured to European standards
Each strap is manufactured to BS EN 12195-2, the standard for web lashing assemblies, and carries a sewn-in identification label showing its rating and traceability details.
Custom options
PlumAlti can also supply 25mm, 35mm and 75mm webbing widths, any length, endless ratchet assemblies, ergo ratchets, alternative end fittings, a range of webbing colours and printed company branding. These are all price on application, so contact us for a quote.

Safety & User Instructions
- Inspect the strap before every use for cuts, fraying, chemical or heat damage, and damaged hooks or ratchet
- Withdraw from use if the label is missing or illegible
- Never exceed the lashing capacity (LC) shown on the label
- Make sure the hooks are fully engaged on suitable anchor points
- Protect the webbing from sharp edges with corner protectors or sleeves
- Don’t twist, knot or tie the webbing
- Don’t use a strap to lift loads, as it is for load restraint only
- Release tension carefully and check the load is stable before releasing
- Store clean and dry, away from chemicals and direct sunlight
