The fully stainless steel load chain and internal fittings provide unmatched corrosion resistance, making this model ideal for long-term subsea deployment and repeated immersion cycles. Backed by Tiger’s patented Quad Cam Pawl System, the SS19 guarantees permanent brake engagement even in the unlikely event of pawl spring failure. The rotational inertia torsion switch brake activates instantly under load, ensuring precise, slip-free control.
Featuring bonded marine-grade friction discs, DU® self-lubricating bearings, and fully sealed brake chambers, the SS19 resists contamination, aquaplaning, and wear. The electroplated and powder-coated housing delivers additional corrosion protection, while drop-forged hooks include Tiger’s patented “EZ Check” overload indicator for easy inspection.
Available with standard or shipyard hooks and an optional overload limiter verified by DNV GL for compliance with NORSOK R-002, this stainless steel variant ensures maximum safety and longevity for critical subsea applications.
