The Tiger SS19 Subsea Lever Hoist with Steel Chain has been developed through years of research and collaboration with the oil, gas, and marine industries. It is engineered to excel in the harshest conditions. Fully compliant with BS EN 13157:2004+A1:2009, ANSI/ASME B30.21-2005, AS1418.2, and SANS 1636, the SS19 also meets IMCA DO28 Rev.2 requirements for safe subsea operation.

This robust hoist features Tiger’s patented Quad Cam Pawl System, ensuring redundant braking even in the unlikely event of spring failure. Its rotational inertia torsion switch brake automatically engages at the slightest load, eliminating the need for preload tension, while protecting against accidental light load failures.

The SS19’s one-piece forged pinion gears, redesigned brake cover, and corrosion-resistant internal components offer long-term reliability. High-strength Grade T/V load chains deliver smooth lifting and precise control, while DU® self-lubricating bearings and bonded marine friction discs enhance performance under multi-immersion conditions. Verified for a 54-day subsea multi-immersion cycle, this hoist has been extensively tested for 1500+ hours under ASTM B117 standards.

Every unit is proof tested at 1.5× WLL and light-load tested at 2% WLL. Operators can also choose between standard hooks or shipyard hooks, and add optional load limiter protection for enhanced safety.
