Description
Warrior EcoWarrior Fork Mounted Twin Parrot Beak Drum Grab
The Warrior EcoWarrior Fork Mounted Twin Parrot Beak Drum Grab is a mechanically operated forklift attachment designed for lifting, moving and stacking one or two drums at a time.
With a 720kg maximum WLL, the grab is suitable for handling open and closed top steel drums, plastic drums and fibre drums. Once mounted onto suitable forklift forks, the operator drives towards the drums and lifts, automatically engaging the parrot beak mechanism around the drum rim.
The clamping force increases in proportion to the weight of the load, helping to provide a secure grip during lifting and transport.
Twin Drum Handling
The WRDG720A is designed to handle single or double drums, providing a practical solution for moving multiple drums in one operation.
Suitable for steel, plastic and fibre drums, the attachment can be used for lifting, transporting and stacking compatible drums in a range of industrial environments.
Parrot Beak Clamping Mechanism
The mechanically operated parrot beak mechanism engages with the rim of the drum during the forward and lifting motion of the forklift.
As the load is raised, the mechanism grips the drum more tightly in proportion to its weight, helping provide a secure hold during lifting and transport.
The drum is released by lowering it until it can no longer descend, allowing the mechanism to disengage.
Fork Mounted Design
The drum grab mounts directly onto suitable forklift forks.
Simply position the forks within the fork pockets and secure the attachment using the safety chain before operation.
Ideal Applications
Suitable for drum handling in:
- Warehouses and distribution centres
- Manufacturing facilities
- Industrial environments
- Production areas
- Drum storage and stacking
