Description
Warrior EcoWarrior 550kg Mobile Workshop Crane
The Warrior EcoWarrior 550kg Mobile Workshop Crane is a versatile counterbalanced workshop crane designed for lifting and positioning loads in industrial, engineering, maintenance and workshop environments.
Its free-standing design eliminates the need for permanent floor mounting, while the 360° rotating jib provides excellent access around the crane. The built-in ballast weight is mounted on a precision-engineered slewing ring, allowing the crane to rotate smoothly while maintaining a compact and manoeuvrable lifting solution.
The crane features a manually adjustable five-position telescopic jib, allowing the lifting capacity and reach to be adjusted according to the requirements of the application. Maximum capacity is 550kg at the minimum 377mm jib extension, reducing progressively to 150kg at the maximum 1530mm extension.
A double-acting hand hydraulic pump provides manual lifting control, while the integrated hydraulic system incorporates a block valve designed to help prevent overloading.
The EcoWarrior is a practical solution for workshops and industrial environments where a flexible, mobile lifting crane is required without the need for fixed installation.
360° Rotating Slewing Jib
One of the key features of the EcoWarrior is its 360° rotating jib, allowing loads to be moved around the crane through a full circle.
The built-in 250kg counterbalance weight is mounted on a precision-engineered slewing ring, providing a stable counterbalanced arrangement while allowing the jib to rotate.
This configuration provides increased accessibility when positioning loads around machinery, workstations and workshop areas.
Counterbalanced Workshop Crane
The EcoWarrior uses an integrated 250kg ballast weight to counterbalance the crane jib and suspended load.
Unlike conventional fixed workshop cranes, the counterbalanced design allows the crane to remain free-standing and mobile, making it suitable for applications where a permanent crane installation is not practical.
The ballast weight is integrated into the crane and mounted on the slewing system, helping provide a combination of stability, accessibility and manoeuvrability.
Hydraulic Lifting System
The crane is supplied with a double-acting hand hydraulic pump unit, providing manual control of the lifting operation.
The hydraulic system includes a five-function hydraulic distributor, allowing the crane’s lifting functions to be controlled from a single system.
The manual hydraulic arrangement makes the EcoWarrior suitable for workshop and maintenance environments where a compact, self-contained lifting solution is required.
Overload Protection
An integrated block valve is included within the hydraulic system to help prevent overloading.
The crane is also supplied with a swivel hook and adjustable knob for load handling.
The EcoWarrior is a heavy-duty design and is tested to a 25% overload before delivery, providing an additional quality and safety check before the crane reaches the customer.
The crane must always be operated within its stated Working Load Limit for the selected jib position.
Mobile and Manoeuvrable Design
The EcoWarrior is designed as a mobile, free-standing workshop crane, allowing it to be manoeuvred around working areas as required.
Its 200mm diameter wheels and compact overall dimensions help make the crane suitable for workshop and industrial environments where access and positioning are important.
The stated turning radius ranges from 977mm to 2140mm, depending on the jib configuration.
Floor-Level Hook Height
The EcoWarrior is designed to provide a floor-level minimum hook height, making it suitable for lifting and handling loads from low-level positions.
This can be particularly useful for workshop maintenance applications where components or equipment need to be lifted directly from the floor.
Typical Applications
The Warrior EcoWarrior 550kg Mobile Workshop Crane is suitable for a range of lifting and material-handling applications, including:
- Engineering workshops
- Industrial workshops
- Maintenance departments
- Machinery maintenance
- Manufacturing facilities
- Automotive workshops
- Equipment servicing
- Component handling
- Machine installation and maintenance
- Workshop material handling
- General industrial lifting
- Low-level load handling
- Positioning machinery and components
Five-Position Telescopic Jib
The manually adjustable telescopic jib provides five different capacity and reach positions.
The available configurations are:
| Jib Position | Capacity (WLL) | Jib Extension (Reach) |
| Position 1 Position 2 Position 3 Position 4 Position 5 |
550kg 450kg 350kg 250kg 150kg |
377mm 660mm 953mm 1243mm 1530mm |
The adjustable jib allows operators to select the appropriate configuration for the load and required reach.
As with any adjustable lifting equipment, the crane must only be operated within the stated WLL for the selected jib position.
